You don't need Application Performance Monitoring

I'm the author of this article; well aware that the title "You don't need APM" does not literally apply to all instances of you' in this world (as is evident by the size of the market for it).

Still, I stand by the fact that for many instances of you (up to quite complex ones) APM actually does more harm than good.
