The war is squarely against H1-B abuses such as for Amazon factory floor workers, code monkeys, or Cognizant content moderators hired by Mega/Facebook/Instagram.

The ones that MAGA are apparently okay with are the Einstein Visa (US O-1 or US EB-1 visa).

Article is poorly researched and a general misquote of Elon Musk.

What a brilliant way to frame being against H1-B visas! MAGA war on talent. Well I never

I thought the war on talent was choosing the ticket with all the rich guys who can't help but fail up? Looking at Trump's lawsuits and bankruptcies you can't say he's a talented businessman.

So, opposing the importation of cheap labor that exploits the laborer is a "war on talent." Got it. Now, I get where MAGA stands on any immigrants, particularly non-white immigrants. But to frame opposition to the tech world's anti-labor practices this way is just as dishonest.
