Popular browser extension Honey accused of shady business practices

When I saw youtubers pushing the "free browser extension" and yet Honey being valued at $4billion, I of course figured there was something fishy about it. However, I thought it was just about scraping user behavior / marketing / tracking. This is wild that PayPal became directly complicit in affiliate fraud.
