#2Any chemical reaction happens with a success rate that is not 100% guaranteed based on lower level quantum phenomena and higher level atomic interactions. It seems the author doesn’t take first principles into consideration.

#3The author seems to confuse the existence of probability with those that use probability in an unsound manner.
If the universe is non-deterministic? Probability exists.
