Lol not really. There are lot of historical companies which made it big with connections to the govt. Almost every single country has them.
The fact that is a tech company is coincidental. Even if it was an ice cream business it would succeed.
The employees, especially like the folks writing this article have zero to do with it's "success", which itself is questionable I think.

Ryan! Good to hear from you. I enjoyed this comment - I suppose early / late is relative. Palantir was founded in 2003 after all.
