+1 - The world really needs more articles on what doesn't work. What DOES work is status-building and is the sort of thing you always want to spam out because it makes you look like a Very Cool Business Dude, but what DOESN'T work is usually more revealing and actionable.

I’m not so sure. To quote Tolstoy: “All happy families are alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.” The same is likely true for products.
