Show HN: Turn Your Videos into Screenshots

Hey HN, I wanted to get some screenshots out of my video but it was such a hassle, so I created an app for it.

It's a web app that runs in the browser. You can mark the timestamps, set a gradient background to look nicer and then export.

It's free and everything happens locally, so it's privacy friendly.

Give it a go an let me know what you think!

I don’t think I am your intended user, but can you elaborate on what the scenario is where pausing and screenshotting (space, cmd+shift+3) is more of a hassle than the three-step process described on the landing page?

If you want to take more than 3 screenshots then this would be faster. Usually you would have to stop the video and select the screenshot area. Plus I'd like them to look a bit nicer than a normal screenshot.

The purpose I made this was to create additional content from videos (blogs, social media posts). So, I plan to add some additional stuff like export to .webp to optimize size or different aspect ratios.
