I’ve spent countless hours on language apps, only to realize I couldn’t string a sentence together when it mattered. Most apps focus on learning, not speaking.

Since nobody was making this, I decided to make this myself.

Called https://www.kataru.app/, I made it focused on geting you to do conversations in your target language. Think of it as a language gym - focused on practice, not theory.

I'm looking for early feedback to help me make it even better. If you're tired of traditional language learning and ready for a new approach, give it a go!

Congrats on the lauch! I’ve been thinking about learning more languages over the years and your approach intrigues me. From the website it appears to be text based learning only though, is that accurate or does the app support vocal conversations as well?

Thank you, mate. Because it is in an early stage, it is based on text conversations aka chats for now. Vocal conversations is something I am definitely interested in & might explore soon.

Cool! I will keep an eye on this and consider it!

Also, I noticed the website seems to not render completely properly on my phone, just something I noticed.

Sure thing, I will take a look into that. And do share your feedback after exploring the app. Much appreciated!
