Fun idea!

I think there are probably some really fun ideas you could do for visualizing this. I'd love to see all the lines connecting the flight paths at once. And then maybe show a grid with all 32 teams at once.

I really appreciate the feedback!

I agree with some of your comments, I think I could improve the globe visualization. It currently only shows one trip at a time, and if the current game (in the schedule iteration, which is done once each time the page is loaded) is at home, then there are no lines shown at all.
