On one hand people expect to earn more as they get older, see their investments appreciate, while everything they consume should stay at a fixed price?

There's just so much businesses can do/control to keep costs down.

We need better education on things like basic economy.

As they say, the customer is king and McDonald's sales slumped for the first time since 2020.
