It’s painful to read. Without Linux we are left with windows and macOS. This guy is biting a hand that’s feeding him.

I don't think so. Harsh words... sure, but still a fair critics.

If there are any good ideas or constructive criticism in this piece, they're undermined by the author's continual belittling and attacking of large swathes of Free software/open source people and technologies in endearing ways, like "fucking retarded shitheads".

I'd suggest not wasting time reading this.

See it here: the mean-spirited ramblings of a lazy, wanna-be "critical" armchair-quarterback. Get a mac if you want to be a snobby, opinionated consumer. If you really want to make a difference, roll up your sleeves and actually fix just one of these things.
