I've always been easily distracted, either by changing my editor's theme or changing my OS colors.. a real customization purgatory. It's impossible to achieve true consistency.
It seems to me that using a grayscale filter (+color inversion in dark ambient) helps me immensely not only with that but I also feel much less stimulated.
I don't know of anyone who has a similar experience or even knew that Windows 10 and Chromebooks have these accessibility features built-in [1].
What about you? Do you have a similar experience?

[1] Chromebook requires you to install additional accessibility packages but it's often so quick that the difference between "plugin" and "built-in" is negligible to me.
