As a fellow dancer, this hit me really hard. Growing up, my parents didn't believe in ADHD. I experienced years of burnout and distress going through school, university, and the workplace. Only later in life did I begin to understand that I was a dancer, stuck without a stage to perform on. Thank you for your vulnerability, Essa. I'm sure many will relate and find meaning in this post.
