This just came up in my browser for the first time today. Very distracting and not that useful. If I can't turn it off that is concerning.

There's no 'O' in their name or URL. It's SEroundtable "Search Engine Roundtable".

True. Though the majority of their content is SEO related https://www.seroundtable.com/category/misc
