There was a time when Medium was useful. But those days are long past.

I wonder whether the writers who still use Medium have assessed the trade-off between the minuscule revenue produced and the negativity that they engender. As a means for showcasing talents and expertise there are better options than Medium.

The sign up to discover popover still happens. For a lot of people that is reason enough to just hit the back button and not even read.
