Show HN: User Simulator – a tool that turns your users into chatbots

My name is Hussain and I made a tool called User Simulator. I have been writing software tools for many years and end up spending a lot of time trying to understand my users with interviews, market research and analyzing metrics. So I wrote this tool to turn my users into chatbots so I can ask them questions directly.

The current version is a Chrome extension that allows you to turn the LinkedIn profiles of your target users into chatbots in 1 click. It collects information about them from various public sources in the background to complete their profile. You can ask both straight and speculative questions like "Which dev tools do you currently use in your engineering job?" or "Will my product solve your problem?"

What I have noticed is that not only can it answer my questions as reasonably as a real user, it exceeds them in clarity. It's like having your target user with you at all times.

In the future, I plan to write integrations that can pull data from analytics tools such as Posthog and add it to the user profile, if the user is already onboarded on your products/apps.
