When you are a "technology company" (whatever that means to you), adding a new user/customer is on the order of 1

Ie, O(1)

There are no "technology companies" under this rubrick

There are only companies for whom adding customers is - effectively - pointless: a little incremental revenue, but no (or practically no) incremental overhead
