#2look into the browser extension Stylus (only changes CSS) or the one named "Dark Reader" (which also only changes CSS to my understanding)

I use the 'Dark Reader' Firefox extension as work-around.

#5It is just cheaper to create an app/website in Dark Mode these days. The loud minority is placated and the rest don't care.
