Background: Road and Track magazine sent reporter Kate Wagner (better known for her McMansion Hell blog) to report on a Formula 1 race in Austin. Interesting fact: Kate Wagner, the author of the "vanished" piece is the creator of the McMansion Hell blog and not only a cycling journalist. That's in the tradition of CLR James who was a noted socialist author and noted rugby commentator.
