You gotta pay higher german taxes and then get arson attacks from hippies.
That combined with Germany not able to re-acquire a cheap energy supply after nordstream takedown and all of its major innovative companies like Kuka robotics slowly being bought out by Chinese and American firms.
The future looks bleak for germany honestly if they dont fix things soon.
Sidenote, but it is kinda amazing how many new factories are opening in usa left and right with bipartisan support for bringing back manufacturing jobs.

Well the article says they are left-wing, and "activism arson" sounds a lot like something a hippy would do, so I think he's made a fair deduction in this case.

'Hippies' aren't really known for activism or violent crimes, in my opinion.
The article states environmental activist groups protesting nearby distanced themselves from the arson attacks, which is more in line with what 'hippies' would do.

Unless you're being obstinately literal I don't see how this could possibly be true. Hippies are famously violent/antagonistic going back to things like kudzu eco terrorism.

Honestly that’s what doing business in the EU is like right now. Their entire bureaucracy seems to have become an operation for enacting laws that enable them to sue foreign businesses and line the pockets of their politicians.
