People Who Can't Picture Sound in Their Minds

It's interesting that some people can't see and/or hear in their memories or imagination. I can tune everything out and see and hear a fully realized other world. I tend to do it without even realizing I'm doing it. As a teenager, I really struggled with maladaptive day dreaming. I've gotten more control over it as an adult, but it's still difficult. There's constant temptation to just withdraw into my own mind.
