Do AI-Generated Image/Art Algorithms Plagiarise? [video]

I recently started learning about ai after seeing it everywhere including hearing it from my close relatives. I had been extremely worried to use it for plagiarism, what do people on HN think about it? This video by a youtuber, makes it quite murky for me to use any AI for my work except asking it some questions. Thanks
