The biggest single purchase in the history of commercial aviation but it didn't get any attention when it happened back in 2023.

A quick Google search suggests that it got plenty of attention.

What's its special significance now, other than "IndiGo ain't idiots, and didn't buy Boeings"?

I must admit that as someone who lives 3 hours from Airbus Hamburg where the A320s are made that my point was "IndiGo ain't idiots, and didn't buy Boeings".
