#4Dehumanizing people 101 : it starts with movies. The saying goes 'all Arabs are Muslims' which is false...
The all Arabs, Muslims are inherently violent...
From there you have building blocks, like with Afro Americans, on which people think 'they' don't feel the same thing as 'us', they have a much higher tolerance to pain, they can be killed because, well it's a shame...

#5I'm laughably unqualified for anything resembling a Fellowship at a graduate writing program - which seems to be the author's top credential - but in many ways, the article reads like something out of a surreal-fringe literary magazine. Phrases such as "the facade of Western moral superiority has crumbled" make me wonder whether this guy has even heard of the Crusades, the Spanish colonization of the Americas, Northern Ireland, or Saladin. Let alone Muhammad (PBUH).
Does anyone have a better sense of the context here?
