#2The github trending repositories are repeated... Multiple times over and over again. At first, I thought it was a glitch and refreshed a couple times, then realised something was seriously wrong when I saw the same pattern in other accounts & PCs. Links are below:

#7Ever since the Microsoft buyout, GitHub has had a ton more features as well as a ton more bugs. I'm extremely worried about their absolutely dominant status in the code-sharing space. I guess someone better could come along (just like GitHub overtook Sourceforge), but momentum is hard to overcome.
GitHub is a great tool, but I question the wisdom of "Let's centralize our decentralized version control".

#8If you were interested in knowing, "Is Github gone mad?" doesn't quite work in English as it's a mix of a past and present tense.
For the past tense, you could say "Has Github gone mad?". For the present tense, you could say "Is Github mad?".
For what it's worth, North American English has moved on from using the word mad in this context, it sounds dated. That said, speak as you wish, English is different everywhere and there's no right or wrong when it comes to word-use IMO.

#9Someone probably did a join on a has-many association without narrowing down the right side of the join is my guess - creating a Cartesian product of the result. Can be easy to miss in code review if you aren’t super diligent about it.

using 'mad' to describe actual mental illness seems dated, but it's still perfect to describe nonsensical behavior
