#3Glad to see the team effort into the type system with "As we get Elixir v1.16 out of door, the Elixir team will focus on bringing the initial core for set-theoretic types into the Elixir compiler, with the goal of running automated analysis in patterns and guards." A functional programming language with strong type system and a distributed ready run time! It's got everything to profit a lot from the pendulum swinging away from 'cloud native everything' that had been fueled by interest free money.

Absolutely agree that "cloud native everything" pendulum needs to swing and it seems like it is. But wondering how you connect it to the interest free money?
