I’m a big fan of point n click adventures.

Graphics are great, so either a talented team or someone very talented, but you have to wade thru 40 mins of exposition before starting the first chapter (you don’t have to but then what about the lore?)

If you're having as much trouble as I was figuring out what the heck this project is, it's a series of YouTube videos depicting stories about The Woods where the music and animatics are done by the same guy. Dunno why they didn't just post the content: https://youtu.be/JxEAaeiyuZo?si=AGP_nx6I8Td5mFF9

The art is excellent, the music is good, but it's kind of let down by the narration.

Was Myst the first game of this style, or was it just the first game that I became familiar with it?

Check out the old LucasArts catalog... it's a large part of what created the genre and has some pretty great games.

I wanna play Myst again.

I was thinking of Riven the other night, I'm surprised that they haven't been turned into browser-based games. Apparently the 3d assets of Riven were lost, which is a huge shame. The game was beautiful.
