Does it count as a job, if it's in a company you own 30%+ of?

#7Having spent some time "making a living" as a field technician I can completely agree with what the speaker said about killing yourself day by day, all the while pretending you are saving up for some magical future. It's living death, and the fact that the majority of people around you are engaged in that same decay doesn't make it any better.
I've been happier, healthier, and more productive figuring out a way to support myself from my pastimes than slogging through "work" hoping to spare an hour of energy at the end of the day for what I truly care about.
