It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. The victim is claiming there was no breach.
I wonder what the SEC will do if it turns out that it's just a stalling tactic. In the worst case, the ransomware gang will provide proof they provided the proof of the breach to the victim. At that point, I wonder what the SEC will do.

#5Whilst they presumably aren't going to get a whistleblowing award as they did the hack, I wonder if there's an opportunity to make money by scanning the darkweb for material being sold that's been hacked from public companies, seeing if its been reported and making a complaint if not.
