#3I see that it's another GLP-1 agonist, like Ozempic/Wegovy. Are there any particular advantages, or is it just a me-too drug?

#4This appears to be a GIP and GLP-1 agonist. Recently I read there might be some severe side effects with this class of med in diabetic and non-diabetic patients:

As I understand it, as the patents begin to expire, they suddenly discover that the old formulation has serious side effects that make it too dangerous to keep making.
And oh, by the way, we also happen to be introducing a very very very slightly different molecule that qualifies for a brand new patent. No side effects this time, we promise, and see you in 20 years.

I've lost 60+lbs with Mounjaro and never experienced any of the side effects listed.
I lost cravings for alcohol, sugars.
I was tired once jumping from 2.5->5, but we also have four kids, so..
These are my most recent blood work numbers. My A1C was 4.7

This is also known as Mounjaro when prescribed for diabetes. Its also a GIP agonist in addition to GLP-1.

It is a double agonist, the second being GIP. Retatrutide, still in trials, is an even more efficacious triple agonist,
