I would go so far as to say "no matter what a company says, your data is not safe with them."

#5/r/TwoXChromosomes is not the nicest, most neutral place on the internet, but it's worth reading if you're a man. You get a sense of what it's like to navigate the world as a woman. It's a good way to build empathy for people in a very different social context, and as you can see here, it might impact how you build products around that context.

#8I bet if you have a female name, more drivers will actually try and bring it to the door (which may be up a flight of stairs) rather than calling you to come down and get it. There are always trade-offs.

When I ask for the no contact option, normally the drivers will ring the bell after they left the food at my door. I know the food arrived and I don't have to meet the driver. I have the impression that that's her expectation.
