The BitLocker website where you can get your recovery keys is down and has been for almost 24 hours. There does not appear to be any official statement or status page from Microsoft. This means that if you have changed something in your BIOS and need the recovery key, your Windows installation is now unusable until the website comes back up.

Probably fortunate for Microsoft that it happened on a weekend, but they'll really be in trouble if the outage continues into the working week.

never ever save recovery keys to any effin online service, use something like eg keepass to save them there, accessible anytime

Please note, I think there may be a workaround for this now..

"The page is still down, but I found a workaround that worked for me.

Try doing this: 1) Open private browser window 2) Register new account 3) Go to recovery keys with the new account 4) Top right corner, sign in with another account 5) Sign with your normal account 6) Keys should show up!
