Caveat for Docker Dev Environment Rug Pull

There are many cases of people losing code bases due to docker reset/updates, wiping docker dev environments and containers. It just happened to me, I lost a bit of work fortunately I pulled from git repo, but the set up and data loss stings a bit.

The problem with the reset is that you are prompted to reset with no warning about data loss.

I understand this dev environment is in beta, any recommendations for macos developer environments?

I know of VScodes, Docker Dev environment, is slightly better execution of VScodes docker environment.
