#4Your questions depends on how much your employer can integrate legacy and new demands. Not all employers will have enough time for this. Probably in the future there will be a CTO employing no one at small scale, just like there are no-code companies.
You can't take money from people with spare time.

Terrible options. I see it as a tool, use it in the wrong places and it's unproductive, use it in the narrow use cases where it helps, it's OK.
