I had maintained a collection of BBS era "anarchy" text files online for several years at that point; but by October 2001 my employer felt that they needed me to take that down to stay employed.

I'm pretty sure textfiles.com has everything I ever did and more, thankfully.

..and I was visited by the FBI very rarely.
