I thought it was about the network layer in the OSI model (level 3), so I expected that traceroute schnitzeljagd.dev would be the first step to pass the step but no, nothing.

I agree some steps need clearer directions. Writing good clues is clearly not my strength and Chat GPT isn't any help either. The game takes place on the second level. You can add a third level.
Spent >30 mins to get that far, so definitely more than an hour of playtime to complete.

It was fun at first, but I've been stuck on step 7 for about 15 mins. Calling it. The hints are a bit too vague for me. Tried different ports (thought I had it there), different HTTP methods, and a few Accept content-types. Spent >30 mins to get that far, so definitely more than an hour of playtime to complete.
