Ask HN: What is the one advice you would have told your “21 yr old” self?

I am a 21 year old adult (I think so), I feel this is also the right platform to ask fellow developers who have scoured the internet and know the in and out working of things that are actually making difference in our society.

I wish to know from you about your advice if you could ever speak to your "21 year old" self.

Calm down, nothing is as new as you think it is, nothing is as dire as you imagine, focus on yourself and the people you love first.

In your 20's and 30's you have more opportunity for making the big bucks. If you manage to rake it in, absolutely invest large amounts of it.

It is easy to think the money will always flow, and it is easier to grow into youthful spending habits. Sure treat yourself, but at the same time, start investing so you have something to live on once you exit this stage of life.
