I'm a compSci student and am looking for some ideas for a fun project to do to fill out my programming portfolio over the summer break. I have a list of my own ideas but most are overly ambitious for something to do over a single summer. Most of my interest in programming involve video games but I want to expand my realm of interests to something perhaps unfamiliar to me. Thanks!

#2There's lots of projects on GitHub which tag some issues as "good first issue" or something similar. Check the projects you already use / are already invested in to see if there's something fun to do there.
