Sure, the state was happy to look away. You think the guards protect pedos in state/federal facilities? He's no different. What you want to know is who did he have contact/calls with the week before. Obviously he didn't do a deal for Ghislaine, there must be someone else he wanted to save by making it easy for the honeypot master.

He was very very different, as most pedos are not part of a huge network of prominent politicians, financiers, academics, entrepeneurs and even royals.
Nor are they the most talked about in the media prisoner of the whole prison, in a case whose suspect list includes at least two presidents...
Nor are most supposed to be, like he was, on constant watch.
Nor are most pedo friends known to have visited their pedo residencies, where pedo parties were documented to take place, left alone, with just the facilitator pedo's wife getting prosecuted.
