That’s because this headline is wrong, and not what the article says at all if you bothered to read it. NVDA forecasts beat by $4b, not missed.

They did miss, but they missed way over; not the normal way finance talks about it.

@dang: This headline is just plain wrong. NVDA’s forecasts are $4b higher than analyst expectations. I have no clue what OP is reading.

Actual headline (for me anyway): Nvidia shares surge 21% as sales forecast jumps and AI booms.
