Repeating radio signal leads astronomers to an Earth-size exoplanet

As I understand this article they are saying it's some interaction between the magnetic field of some exoplanet and its star. I would think there would eventually be a credibility penalty for news organizations that bait and switch like this - "ALIENS?!?!? Nope, normal phenomenon." And yet, even seeing this was from CNN, and knowing that the headline would be misleading, I still clicked and looked at their article.
