#2Article is not very balanced, does not talk of cattle smugglers but only of vigilantes. The smugglers rob poor farmers of their cattle and in lawless rural areas there is no police to protect them so they setup their own groups to protect their cows. When this happens to be majority poor hindu farmers and muslim smugglers, it appears like its one versus the other but its not. Its just someone smuggling an innocent farmers cattle.

#3We've banned this account for using HN for nationalistic and religious flamewar. That's not allowed here, regardless of which nation or religion you're for or against. It's not what this site is for, and destroys what it is for, so please don't post like this to HN.

It looks like you've also been posting primarily on nationalistic/religious flamewar topics. That's not ok. It looks like this has been a problem for a long time (e.g. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17016774, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17016624), and it looks like your account has even turned into a single-purpose account on this issue (also not allowed on HN, regardless of what the single purpose is), so I think we have to ban it as well, at least until we get some indication that you'll use HN as intended in the future.

Hi there, my recent posts indeed have been related to topics I find of interest on India and eastern faiths. I have a particular interest in these areas but if you look at my overall profile I do post on a lot of topics. I have been on HN for a long time, not sure why I am being banned for highlighting another account who has been on here for barely a few weeks?

Hi there, my recent posts indeed have been related to topics I find of interest on India and eastern faiths. I have a particular interest in these areas but if you look at my overall profile I do post on a lot of topics. I have been on HN for a long time, not sure why I am being banned for highlighting another account who has been on here for barely a few weeks?
The problem is that you're using HN primarily to comment on topics that are classic ideological/nationalistic/religious/political flamebait, and at the same time have been posting low-quality flamewar comments yourself. I'm not saying all your posts have been this, but enough of them have that this pattern is not ok.
If you want to commit to avoiding that in the future and to making sure that ideological/nationalistic/religious/political topics do not dominate your HN posts, we can unban you.
