#2I agree with the article. The mass capitalist interests and short-term profit focus are exactly what's wrong with this world.
These people aren't going to change that because their livelihoods depend on it. The question is who will... I don't see any options.

Replace "patriarchy" with "oligarchy" and the same wisdom rings true.
