It's kind of odd how important sharing your work is. Abstractly, it's personal marketing. It's strange that our world is so heavily dominated by the need to advertise and market compared to directly innovate.

I think it comes down to how limited our attention is. It is not possible to keep up with everything.

I think it comes down to how limited our attention is. It is not possible to keep up with everything.

One would hope that we as a society would've used technology to help us better keep up with everything as opposed to trying to market over each other.

I guess the better we get at keeping up with everything the more competition there will be for our attention.
