#2I submitted an application just yesterday! I know it was an automated response, but I really appreciated the follow-up email that acknowledges the difficulties of job searching for a candidate. It's such a contrast to most companies that don't even tell you whether or not they've received your application. Whoever wrote that deserves a raise.
