I use proxies for reading Twitter without logging in, but my point is that we shouldn't settle for a replacement that has the same problems.

There's a popup asking me to accept a policy update as soon as I arrive. I don't have an account. A post is hiding behind the modal, but I can't see much of it to determine what this site is about.

Poor onboarding experience. 0/10, can't recommend. I can easily bypass these things, but most people I might point to it can't without guidance, and it would be silly to expect them to.
