What has your experience been? I've posted and got a few recruiters and some folks who didn't fit the criteria reach out. No real good leads but I only tried it one time. Curious what other folks' experience has been.

#2A bit specialized, but I don't get much inbound interest as a software developer for hardware projects.

#4I found my job of the last 2.5 years from that thread. It's hit or miss but sometimes a strong match happens!

#5I posted my work history along with what I was looking for in the equivalent job seeking thread along with sending an e-mail to interesting opportunities in the who is hiring threads.

#7I wouldn't say full success as I didn't actually get a job, but I got deep into interviews that could have led to very good jobs. The progress vs effort ratio is by far the best of any channel.
The first month had no response, but after fixing my copy and posting soon after the thread opens, I got a lot of good responses.

#8I don't have any experience from the hiring side, but I got my current job from applying to a position from the 'who's hiring' thread that sounded interesting. Just passed my 2 year anniversary there and I've been loving the work.

#10I got hired by one company advertising on who's hiring, been there for 6 months now. Very happy! They told me that the threads are gold mines for good candidates, because 99% of the people who apply on LinkedIn or through their websites are really bad.
