Why Google search sucks these days, through the lens of evolutionary biology

There's certainly something to this, but the analogy seems stretched past breaking on a few things.

Also, do we really know that Google search is worse than 10 years ago? I mean I'd say it is worse, but I'm prey to all the cognitive biases.
