You can turn these off on iOS. All four types.

You can turn these off on iOS. All four types.

Abusing emergency alerts so people want to turn them off is a bad idea. If there's a wildfire or tornado that requires people to immediately evacuate/shelter at 3 AM, people very well might die if they don't receive these alerts.

Until Android gives me the option of receiving the messages without making obnoxious noises, the service will remain off on my phone.

Android Developers: Please do not make it "all or nothing"!!!!! Please allow us to receive alerts silently.
