I'm worried that we are starting to see the effect of the Akamai takeover. Linode has always been very dependable for us in the past, but this is the third time in the past 6 months that our startup experiences a +30 minute downtime all across the board on all our nodes. This used to be a very rare occurrence in the nearly ten years that we've been with them, but not so anymore apparently.
Ask HN: Is it just me or does Linode lately go down more frequently than usual?

#2I work for a company who pays $100k+ /month to Linode and we’ve regularly had uptime issues (for years) due to urgent maintenance or other outages in their data centers. Speaking of which, they currently have connectivity issues now in their London DC. I’d look to some other VPS provider like GCP/AWS/DO.

#3I have had zero downtime save for one planned and notified migrantion.

#4Aside from one planned and well-notified migration, I have not had any Linode downtime that I haven't caused myself.
